Observation towers
The Złota Góra Observation Tower is located in the Krzymów commune, within the "Złota Góra" nature reserve, which covers an area of 123.87 hectares. The wooden and steel structure, commissioned in 2014, stands at a height of just under 30 meters. Taking into account the elevation, visitors are positioned at an altitude of 216 meters above sea level.
To reach the viewing platform, visitors must climb 140 steps, but the effort is well worth it for the stunning views of eastern Greater Poland. From the tower, you can admire the panorama of Konin, as well as the Złotogórski nature reserve located below. The tower is open for visitors from spring to autumn.
The Paprotnia Observation Tower is located in the Krzymów commune and was opened on April 1, 2015. After climbing 105 steps, tourists and residents of the Konin district can enjoy panoramic views of the region and Konin from a height of approximately 22 meters. The tower, which features a circular observation deck at 18 meters, is constructed of steel and wood. It stands at an altitude of about 118 meters above sea level.
Similar to the Złota Góra observation tower, when visibility is good, visitors can see, among other landmarks, the Basilica in Licheń and the power plants in Konin and Turek.
