The location and airfield of the Aero Club are situated on the spoil heap as a result of recultivation activities of the "KONIN" Lignite Mine, on the northern side of Kazimierz Biskupi.

During the aviation season, i.e. from April to November, basic and refresher training as well as training for members of the airplane, glider, parachute, modeling and balloon sections are conducted here.

As part of popularizing aviation in the region, Konin Aero Club is also often the organizer of air fairs. Sightseeing flights were extremely popular at that time, allowing a bird's eye view (from an airplane or a glider) of the Konin region.
