The location and airfield of the Aero Club are situated on a spoil heap, the result of recultivation activities by the "KONIN" Lignite Mine, on the northern side of Kazimierz Biskupi.

During the aviation season, from April to November, the club offers basic and refresher training, as well as courses for members of the airplane, glider, parachute, modeling, and balloon sections.

To promote aviation in the region, the Konin Aero Club also frequently organizes air fairs. Sightseeing flights are particularly popular, offering a bird's-eye view of the Konin area, whether from an airplane or glider.
