Evangelical parish in Żychlin
The Evangelical Parish in Żychlin (Stare Miasto commune) is the only Evangelical Reformed parish in Poland whose origins date back to the late 16th century. The buildings of the church complex form a compact compound and continue to be used for their original purpose, making the parish unique in the country.
Around the church and belfry, in the so-called lapidarium, historically and artistically valuable tombstones have been collected since 1985. These tombstones come from various parts of Poland, particularly from regions where Reformed parishes once existed, but where only decaying cemeteries remain today.
The Żychlin parish offers 20 beds for guests. Bathrooms are located next to the rooms, and there is a kitchen where meals can be prepared. Guests can also park their cars in a secure, enclosed area.
