In 2004, the Memorial Chamber of Zofia Urbanowska, a writer and journalist from Konin, was established at the Volunteer Fire Department Cultural Center in Kowalewek.

The Chamber displays personal mementos of the late writer, including her publications and photographs. Zofia Urbanowska's work primarily focused on her hometown of Konin, which also served as the setting for many of her stories. Her novels for children and young adults gained widespread recognition and enjoyed considerable popularity.

The Memorial Chamber is open for visits from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
