The centre is situated in a quiet forest. The main idea behind it is to conduct forest education in a pleasant and practical way. There is a room with taxidermied animals, a model of a lignite mine and a hut where a forester tells fascinating stories. In the treetops (8 m above the ground) there is a path and a platform with a telescope, where you can observe the animals living in harmony in the forest nursery.
 
200 km of bicycle paths run through the surrounding forests, including the "Stork" path, which runs through the strict protection area of the black stork.
The centre is open to visitors all year round:

• from April 1 to September 31, from 8: 00-20: 00,
• from October 1 to March 31, 8: 00-18: 00.
