The center is located in a peaceful forest, and its main goal is to offer forest education in a pleasant and hands-on way. Visitors can explore a room with taxidermied animals, a model of a lignite mine, and a hut where a forester shares fascinating stories. High up in the treetops (8 meters above the ground), there is a path and a platform with a telescope, offering a chance to observe the animals living in harmony within the forest nursery.

The surrounding forests are crisscrossed by 200 km of bicycle paths, including the "Stork" path, which runs through a strict protection area for the black stork.

The center is open to visitors year-round:

• From April 1 to September 30: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• From October 1 to March 31: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
