ROUTE DESCRIPTION:

0.0 km
Żychlin. Intersection with road No. 72. We head towards Stare Miasto, passing the Bronikowski Palace and the Evangelical-Reformed Church in Żychlin. After about 5 km, we turn left along the busy road No. 25 and turn right at the roundabout. We pass under the "25" road. At the next roundabout, we continue straight, following Główna Street towards the church, where we turn right onto Rychwalska Street, and then left onto Szkolna Street. We continue straight, as the asphalt turns into a gravel road. At the junction, we go straight ahead, and at the next intersection, we turn right. We pass through the village of Branno and continue along the asphalt road. After the single-family housing estate, we turn left onto road No. 205 Konin – Rzgów.

9.6 km
We enter Sławsk. Turn right towards the ferry dock. On the right, we pass St. Lawrence's Church. We cross the Warta River by ferry (Mon-Fri, 1st Saturday of the month 5:00 AM - 9:00 PM, other Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; free of charge). After disembarking, we continue on a field road that turns right onto the flood embankment. Soon, the buildings of the Węglewskie Dutch settlement appear. We continue straight towards the pine forest. Beyond it, the road curves left.

16.3 km
We approach Węglew. Before the grocery store, we turn left onto an asphalt road. We pass the school building and cross the busy road No. 92 Konin - Słupca. We continue left along the bicycle path until we reach the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Consolation in Kawnice. We then turn right onto Królewska Street, which leads to the Bieniszew Forest. We cross the railway tracks, turn right at the junction, and soon reach the village of Rosocha-Kolonia. We continue straight – the road changes to gravel. At the next junction, we turn right.

22.3 km
The straight road leads towards the Bieniszew Forest visible on the horizon. At the forest border, we turn left and shortly after, turn right. At the next intersection, we turn left. Soon, a clearing appears, which leads to the Bieniszew Monastery. We continue straight. At a nearby junction, we turn right and head towards the red sign marking the boundaries of the Bieniszew Nature Reserve. After about 150 meters of uphill, the road gently undulates.

25.4 km
After leaving the forest, the road improves noticeably. We are in Kazimierz Biskupi. We descend along Węglewska Street to the monastic complex, which we must visit. Continuing along Niepodległości Street, we reach the Freedom Square. We turn right and then right again onto Kościelna Street. On the right, we see the Romanesque Church of St. Martin. After visiting the church, we head along Łososia Street towards the intersection with the busy road No. 264 Konin – Kleczew, where we turn right.

30.3 km
After the forest lodge, we turn left. The asphalt road takes us to Ludwikowo, ending before the forest. At the end of the road, we find a monumental oak tree. The route continues along Lake Gosławskie, which we pass on the left.

33.5 km
After a short distance, we enter Gosławice. We reach a roundabout along Główna Street. At the roundabout, we turn left, passing the District Museum buildings and the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle. We pass under the viaduct and turn left onto road No. 25 Ostrów Wielkopolski – Bydgoszcz. After 200 meters, we turn right onto Rybacka Street. The asphalt soon changes to concrete slabs – it’s a bit bumpy! We cross a bridge over the Warta-Gopło Canal and reach the main road. We are accompanied by the green walking trail. In the distance, the outline of the Licheń Basilica becomes visible.

42.0 km
We enter Stary Licheń. On the left, we see the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows, Queen of Poland. Gosławicka Street intersects with road No. 230 to Konin. We turn right. Continuing straight, we pass the so-called Grąblin Forest, and after about 3 km, we reach the village of Grąblin. If you want to reach Konin, look for the connector trail on the right! We enter Izabelin, where we can visit a small nature museum and a zoo at the agritourism farm "Ania i Filip." We continue further. 2 km after Izabelin, we turn left onto a narrow asphalt road. We continue straight along Centralna Street. We cross road No. 266 Konin – Sompolno and turn left, descending.

52.5 km
After the last house on the right, we turn left. The field road leads us to the ferry crossing. We cross the Warta River. On the other side, we ride along a dirt road to the flood embankment. In Szczepidło, the asphalt appears. We continue to Brzeźno. We cross the intersection with road No. 2 Warsaw – Poznań and ride along Kwiatowa Street, which turns left after 200 meters. Now, we face a long uphill climb (about 2.5 km). Gradually, the surface worsens. In Potażniki, we turn right onto a perpendicular road and after about 500 meters, we turn right again. We climb uphill. We enter the forest.

62.1 km
After passing several intersections with forest roads in the Złotogórskie Hills, we reach the top – Złota Góra (191 m above sea level). After a short rest, we head downhill, following the blue walking trail signs. At the intersection with a perpendicular forest road, we turn right and continue downhill. At the intersection with a wider road, we turn right towards the buildings. We leave the forest. The gravel road leads us to Żychlin.

68.6 km
Asphalt appears, intersecting with the busy road No. 72 Turek – Konin. We continue straight, and soon turn right along the road. 200 meters further, we pass through another intersection, thus completing the "Loop around Konin." Look for the connector trail if you wish to reach Konin!
