TRAIL DESCRIPTION:
0.0 km
The trail begins at the PKP train station in Konin. We head down Dworcowa Street until we reach the intersection with the two-lane Poznańska Street. We turn left and walk along the sidewalk in the direction of the steel Marshal Piłsudski Bridge. 200 meters past the bridge, we turn left onto a bike path that goes downhill. We then turn right, pass under the viaduct, and shortly after, turn left onto Wojska Polskiego Street. We cross the Toruński Bridge to reach the left bank of the Warta River, entering the Old Town of Konin.
2.4 km
The trail leads to Plac Wolności (Freedom Square) with its charming tenement houses and the atmosphere of the Old Town. We can turn right onto Z. Urbanowska Street, which leads to a historic manor house, then follow Obrońców Westerplatte Street to Plac Zamkowy (Castle Square), where the building of the former synagogue is located. From Plac Wolności, we turn onto 3 Maja Street, cross Kościelna Street, and after St. Bartholomew’s Church, we turn left onto Szarych Szeregów Street, right onto Wodna Street, and again right onto Żwirki i Wigury Street.

To continue on 3 Maja Street, we turn left. A detour is necessary due to the one-way traffic on 3 Maja Street. At the roundabout, we continue straight, and on the west side of the Evangelical Church, we take a short but steep uphill on Podgórna Street.
4.1 km
The trail then turns left onto Solna Street, and after 600 meters, we turn right onto the busy Świętojańska Street. We need to follow this road to safely cross the busy intersection leading to the Konin bypass motorway. Continuing along Świętojańska Street, we enter Żychlin.
7.2 km
Our trail ends in Żychlin, where we meet the circular green trail. Turning left will take us to Złota Góra, while turning right will lead to the Old Town.
